SHINE teachers are unique. Teaching with SHINE is about more than just helping a student improve academically – it's about doing "Whatever It Takes" to help a student succeed.
All SHINE staff must be dedicated to helping at-risk children improve academic performance and attendance at school and address inappropriate behaviors.
Engaging and dynamic lesson plans and activities are designed to support SHINE objectives. The SHINE curriculum is coordinated with students’ academic day program.
SHINE integrates homework tutoring, character and relationship-building, cultural, recreational, and service learning activities.

"When you put your heart and soul into it, relationships are established. That's how we create a place - a SHINE family - where everyone sees success."
